Tips for Lips:

*  Exfoliate as needed:  when lips feel dry, rough, slightly chapped

*  Add moisture at night.  Before retiring in the evening you will find it beneficial to apply a thin layer of the moisturizer of your choice.  Some swear by Vaseline, but you can try any type of clear lip balm to soothe and smoothe the lips.  It is not recommended that lip product with color be used at night–it will end up on your pillow case.

*  Keep lips moisturized in the daytime by using balm, gloss, lipstick, etc.

*  You may choose to use a lip liner to enhance the contour of your lips or to extend the wear of your lip color.  To extend the wear of your gloss or lipstick, outline and fill in the entire top and bottom lip with liner and then apply lipstick, lipgloss or both.  You can also opt to lightly outline your lips with a liner and apply gloss or lipstick.

 * You can also opt out:  Leave out the lip liner and simply apply your gloss or lipstick for a more natural look.

For Today’s Lesson:

Individual Eyelashes:

1) Choose the right size lash for your face and eyes.  If you have small facial features choose short or medium lashes.  Larger eyes look better with medium or long lashes.  If you have small features and choose long lashes you run the risk of looking flambouyant; now if that’s the look you’re going for — go for it!

2) Do not splash your face with water when washing your face.  Water will loosen your lashes over time.  You will lose lashes randomly–not a good look.

3) When ready to remove lashes, the only removal method that we endorse is using eyelash glue remover.  If you use any other method– i.e., baby oil, vaseline or water–you run the risk of losing your own lashes…Warning, don’t do it!
